Open green spaces are good for our mind and body. Fields in Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to the protection of such green spaces.

As part of HRH The Queen’s diamond jubilee in 2012, Commemorative plaques where mounted at various sites to indicate that these green spaces are to remain in perpetuity for the benefit and enjoyment off all who wish to enjoy them. Some of these spaces have been threatened by developers and only through local community intervention have they been saved.

Here at SSC, we were involved in mounting several plaques into various boulders, to mark these special places.
